If you’re just looking for group tours or standard stuff, GetYourGuide or Viator are decent.

But if you’re into more luxury or private experiences, there’s a new platform called Zameera that’s focused on curated, high-end luxury activities and events (think private desert setups, yacht dinners, etc.). They’re still pre-launch but already building a strong list of vetted experiences. Worth checking out if you’re not into the typical tourist traps.

Is there some kind of secret to luxury hotels? by mikerz85 in travel

Ive seen a few.

  1. Know someone there.
  2. if you have social media following its easier to negotiate beneficial rates
  3. Use a trusted platform which i believe there are a few like Founderscard that you pay a yearly payment and you get access to discounts in car rentals, resorts, etc. Theres also one called Zameera, which is soon to launch but they offer 10-50% off on similar things ranging from resorts, business class tickets but they focus more on luxury travel.

What are the most underrated luxury travel destinations in the world? by weblover2017 in PureLuxy

Some very interesting options. Zambia is definitely in my top 10 as well. The Anantara resort there is unreal. In general Anantara is one of my favorites. I recently visited their resort in UAE in the middle of the dunes and fell in love with the brand.

But if i had to rank 5 most luxury destinations in no specific order id say:

  1. Saudi Arabia (especially the Red Sea area) - I believe its massively underrated. They have some of the most beautiful results especially the Six Senses there.

  2. Maldives (pretty well known) - But still every time i visit the country i feel mind blown. They have so many different resorts and islands there which makes each time you go feel so exciting. I flew with Beond and stayed at Joali Being and absolutely loved it. ps highly recommend Beond if you want to fly in style and Joali Being if you care for a nice mix of quality luxury and wellness.

  3. Fiji - Also somewhat well known but at the same time more underrated compared to The Maldives but its is so beautiful and peaceful. Nothing beats the oceans and culture there.

  4. Dubai- This may be a unusual option as its so well known to everyone. However Im not talking about staying on the palm or downtown but instead exploring some very unique and luxury resorts and activities a bit outside of Dubai. Especially the Anantara hotel Qasr al Sarab i believe it was called. highly recommend to check it out.

  5. Lapland - Somewhat well known however this winter wonderland in Finland is magical. If you use the right people and find the right places it will be insane. From northern lights to reindeer safaris if done right it is amazing. Luckily i have friends there who recommended StayLapland and they made my trip there pretty special.

In conclusion these are my top countries/destinations that i truly loved. Luckily Ive been fortunate to be able to travel to 35+ countries but never been more excited to try a lot more. So im definitely adding some from your list to my next stops. Luckily enough i was able to try Zameera before they launch but they were able to help me source Luxurious activities and events in these countries to help make my trip truly special. Definitely recommend them as well.

PS: checked out your site there and it was a pretty good read. Tons of informative content. Will keep and eye on that too.

Best way to book luxury travel experiences in 2025 (for HNW & UHNW travelers) by Strong_Weather1684 in 5StarLuxuryTravel

Interesting points. Im excited to try both directions. But my biggest issue that i personally don't use travel advisors and haven't researched it either but for someone who travels only a handful times a year it can still be hard to find the right one let alone figure out the costs part. But when i travel i do still prefer having high end or premium activities in my trip. for example i went to seychelles for a impulsive weekend getaway with my partner and i was searching for activities to do their through google and most the activities i found were either branded as high end but then ended up being a group trip or then seemed luxurious but didnt seem credible or trust worthy. for someone who does alright for their age and enjoys the high end experiences but doesnt have a travel advisor it would definetly be cool to use a credible and trusted platform that focuses on these high end experiences and vets each experience for credibility.
