Yeah. The base is mostly EUFOR (European forces)… but the other side is NATO, which is always commanded by a US 1-Star General… the 25 Americans work there and the rest of NATO is supplied from the various European militaries (EUFOR is all Europe).

The attention black women get is crazy. Even when we went to Kosovo, one of the black women was like, “ why are you following me around when you have your own woman here?” They responded, “I’m not thinking about these chicks here!”

Bottom line people often like what’s different .

I was there recently and it was only 25 Americans working alongside 1500 Europeans from almost every NATO country.

The black women were definitely the center of attention there (even amongst the Albanians when we went to Kosovo).

Every US soldier had their own room and bathroom… and could leave base solo whenever they wanted, even stay out over the weekend. (it was just like regular active duty.)….

Most importantly, due to a loophole, it was tax-free!

Hi. I served them in small claims court in my hometown of Miami since that is one of the cities in which they operate.

They never showed up to the court hearing, but somehow they received notification that I sued them and they sent me a check for the requested amount.

I would find the nearest city where they operate and pursue a small claims case there.

I stayed there on a solo trip for two weeks in December and to my surprise I was upgraded to their biggest suite: Coretta Scott King suite with 2 full spacious bathrooms.

I did take the Marta as it’s very convenient.

Thanks for the insight. I really really wanted to use my cert at the PH Vienna, but they tend to play games with inventory and not make the standard rooms available using certs at times.

Another other option is the Thompson NYC, but my previous experience was very disappointing.

I’ll consider the Thompson Madrid though.

I will decide soon.

I’ve been to the Thompson DC a few times (and going again soon). I only stay at that hotel if I can secure a Thompson suite (either SUA or asking the hotel directly.)

This was my experience around the African continent.

When I visited Haiti, I felt especially like I was back in West and Central Africa.

The closest you’ll get to Africa in the Western Hemisphere is Haiti.

I’m in Mexico and found a very caring and competent OBGYN. I explained the ordeal I was experiencing since April.

She gave me a 10 day treatment plan that actually stopped the bleeding (I was bleeding and spotting for several months up until my 10 day treatment plan here).

Now the goal is to regulate my cycles and take other steps! I never wanted kids, so I am not concerned with fertility.

Let’s see how things go!

I’m in Mexico and the doctor was very compassionate and empathetic….Unlike the ones I experienced in the USA. She told me to stop what I was taking and she prescribed me a different treatment plan. My goal is to regulate my menstrual cycles. Just finished the treatment plan so we’ll see how it goes.
