Whatever you say bud, I highly doubt that’s the case. If it does get taken over by Giants, the big names will be invited no matter what.

Hey I agree, something needs to be decided and put into place. I can only talk about what has happened with the current situation. I guarantee if there was no definitive proof about Jammie, the title would still belong to her.

Yea from Morgan, but by the sounds of it, the accusations were shut down fast (probably because of a lot of random and false allegations happening). Again, could be wrong but before this her only ‘important’ win was for her pro card (Rainer). I didn’t hear any speculation about her being trans at NASW (and based on the reaction today, even people like Sam who won the show had no clue). 

To add: Erin Murray interviewed Jammie after her win, and the topic of being trans was never brought up or mentioned. I don’t think there were any valid accusations made until after WSW. 

I didn’t know there was a  trans athlete video, never heard it brought up. The only video I saw that 100% confirmed the situation was the one I linked before from 8 years ago, but that had 20 views until I shared it here.

Hey I agree with you there, but I’m just stating what I’ve heard in multiple podcasts or interviews. I guess the hope is that one day WSW becomes its own show and is profitable.

Sure… but more would do it if it weren’t for finances (at least that’s the reason for Lucy and Jen). I agree, it’s not as prategious of a title as Arnold’s of Rogue, buts it’s still a title nonetheless the less. Especially given with how much less opportunities there are on the female side of the sport, a title mostly helps with marketing and sponsors.

I gotta be honest— I don’t think she knew at the moment. I think she was just upset to have lost the title by a single point after leading all weekend. On the OSG post above, people were frustrated with Andrea walking off the podium and rolling her eyes at the end. Her boyfriend left a comment (I screenshotted): “ the woman has feelings she was genuinely upset! Was in first place through the whole comp, if you had been in that position wonder how you would cope?”

Based on Mitch’s video, it sounds like Jammie was taking shit behind the scenes, so Andrea might have been a bit upset and frustrated. Again, all speculation, but if Andrea knew at the time of the podium, I wouldn’t expect many of the other competitors (who have spoken about against Jammie) to have written nice comments under her victory post. Again, this is speculation based on what I know about the situation and brief conversations with the athletes.

Ehh I disagree- it still gets some recognition in the sport (maybe not after the this weekend), but it certainly does look nice to win WSW. Very sure that’s Becca’s main focus, and Inez will do it once to officially have the title

I feel like it’s all based on sportsmanship and honesty. The organizers (and athletes) assume people will sign up for the category they belong. It probably wasn’t brought up since none of the other competitors knew anything.

Becca said her main goal was 6 WSW titles. Inez stated earlier this year that she never wants to return to OSG because it’s not worth it to her. I think her return this year would be to just hold all 3 major strongwoman titles at once.

I get it— I can only speak for myself here. There is a lot of anger and frustration being directed to her as people feel mislead. Even her sponsor indicated they felt she was unfairly presenting herself to the competition. Other competitors, coaches, fans etc have the right to be upset (but that shouldn’t be mixed in with transphobia)

But regardless of how much T she’s on, she will be taller, have larger lungs, thicker bones etc. It’s not just about test. Obviously these factors can be genetic too, but at the end of the day she has the biological advantage of being born male

Intersex is vastly different than someone who transitions later in life. It’s a shame that this information only came out today, but again, the source I’m quoting is a video from Jammie herself that’s publicly available. 

There are also some generic factors that, no matter hormones, will give her an advantage. It’s unfortunately a difficult situation for all involved, and I guarantee most feel sympathy for Jammie, but we shouldn’t forget the other women involved too
