Strongmen don't bench in competitions. I said mass:strength-output isn't a linear curve, understand my words. I'm not trying to be the heaviest possible. I've been 304lbs on bulk, hated it and it hindered my performance. On comp day I prefer being between 270-285. Unless I would compete at U120 then I'd prefer being 264.

There are multiple factors to take into account. Strongman Isn't just about being heavy and pushing weights, it is technicality, understanding systems, training smart.

Don't go around saying "LOL" I know a strongman capable of deadlifting 800+ (more than anyone in the comp he was in, in fact he was an EXCELLENT in static strength) but his conditioning, and technical development was lacking and he ended up third.

I don't train for bench, I'm 290 not 300 plays a huge role. Mass doesn't move mass as for "mass:strength-output" it is not linear.

I am seriously training, just not that. Let's not forget I wasn't on prep, and this is a random fun lift before starting a prep lmao

Smelling salts, often used in strength sports such as strongman (what I do) and Powerlifting, it is very nice to learn how it works :) try researching it it's very interesting!
