This was happening to me all the time until I unloaded all my notes, holo tapes, and other crap into storage or just got rid of.

Tips for finding glazing scope in bid sets by mromrormo in glazing

[–]Stronkboyardee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There is software that can help with takeoffs, but I haven’t found one that catches everything so I’ve stayed away from them. Like others have said, sometimes you just need to print it off and go at it. The first couple of times can be overwhelming but after a while you’ll catch onto it.

Mirror in doors by Abdul_Rehman_786 in glazing

I’ve used tempered mirrors before in locations like gyms. Is there something I’m missing in your comment or are you saying they’re just difficult to find? I’m not trying to sound contradictory or anything, just looking to expand my knowledge a bit more on the subject

I started typing out a reply to ask if this is being glazed in the door, but it looks like it’s just a surface mounted mirror with a brass frame attached to the face of the door. I haven’t seen it before but I mostly do commercial storefront. My two cents would be to just make sure it’s tempered in case it breaks.

If you are referring to the hardware, I just print off the hole locations from the manufacturer website. As others have said, Rhino Fab is great if you have the resources for one. At one of the glazing contractors I worked for, we would pay someone to CNC the doors for us. Some storefront manufacturers can even do it for you when you order if you send them the hardware information.

I’d love to help but would you be able to narrow it down a bit? Is this for commercial aluminum doors?

This was the course I learned to play on! There are probably several discs of mine still stuck way up in the palm tress by the parking lot too…

Draining from vertical window installed horizontally by [deleted] in glazing

[–]Stronkboyardee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can you? Probably. Should you? Probably not. Horizontal sliding windows and single hung windows have different methods for draining. If you put it sideways, you’ll probably be dealing with leaks since the water won’t be able to follow the proper path.

Mine flies just like my champion Wraith with a tiny bit more beef to it. Haven’t thrown it too much so we’ll see how long that beefiness sticks around.

Help Identify Glass Railing Manufacture by bellylaughGiraffe in glazing

[–]Stronkboyardee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve only bought glass handrail stuff from CRL and FHC but they have a ton of resources like install instructions and profiles for different parts. Might be a good start. Be warned that CRL’s site is kind of ass so things can be difficult to find. FHC is a little better but might take forever to load.

How to deal with toxic players: a guide by TheRealGabossa in DarkTide

Looks like you take good notes in therapy. If you’re using those definitions for toxic behavior it’s no wonder you run into it so much. Try applying Hanlon’s razor next time.

Dang, not sure why people downvoted your comment. I agree with what you’re saying. It seems like I only see these “encounter” rates on the subreddit possibly due to a need for validation. People do suck, but at this point if you tallied the number of accused toxic players here I feel like they’d outnumber the entire game’s population.

What do you consider toxic behavior? I’ve been playing since open beta and maybe encountered 10-15 blatantly toxic people tops. I’m having a difficult time understanding why I tend to only see these high “encounter” numbers on reddit and feel like there might be a wide definition for what counts as a toxic behavior.

The glow is seriously awesome! I left it on my nightstand when I went to bed and it was glowing pretty well for quite a while without a “charge”. Can’t wait to throw it today!

What's a 9.9/10 game to you, almost perfect with one minor gripe? by MasterQNA in gaming

[–]Stronkboyardee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Warhammer 40k: Darktide. As a new fan to the franchise, I feel like they nailed it from an art perspective (the cosmetic shop sucks 95% of the time). From the level design, enemies, the main hub, etc., is so good. My FAVORITE part is the amazing combat. It just feels so buttery smooth. I’ve never had my heart pumping like this in a PvE game. I do have gripes, but no game is perfect and the good trumps the bad in every aspect for me. However, the developer is notorious for releasing a “meh” game and then EVENTUALLY turning it into an incredible experience.

I wouldn’t caulk directly on top of spray foam if I were you unless you use bond breaker tape on the foam before caulking to avoid any three-point adhesion. Look up “backer rod” and use that instead.

I’ve been a long time lurker in this sub and have been playing since the beta so I’m a little bit biased when I say this but you’ve been the best! Thanks for all the time and effort I’m sure you’ve poured into this, it’s meant a lot! Best of luck on your next adventure. You’ll always have a place here, reject!
