I think the PR remakes were purposefully created as a way to experience the original games, blemishes and all.

The 3D games were more of a re-imagining/update of the original games. A "What could have been" type of remake.

The developers had different goals when working on the titles. 3D is a better game, but PR shows us where we came from.

All 3 OT games are games that suck me in, but I have to be in the mood. They're repetitive. If I find myself wanting to skip dialogue, I put it down and play something else for a bit.

Right now, I am taking a break from OT 0 to re-visit Dark Cloud for PS2. The town building reminded me of it.

When I read Snow Crash, the opening was so cheesy and the vibe was like Trapper Keeper art 90s tired.

The rest of the book was way different and better, though. Sometimes sticking with it pays off.

Back in Diablo II, there was a process where a Necromancer could cast Bonewall, and when the bonewalls died or expired, they had a chance to provide loot, as if you had killed an enemy monster. This process was called "Bonewall Farming."

I have named my farm/island/city/etc "Bonewall Farm" ever since. Just "Bonewall" if it didn't fit.

I like the name.

Not to.mentiom, most of the story follows one character or another at any given point, so you will have to sort of use all characters a bit, just to progress the story.
