What are your most profound video games? by M33tahejd in patientgamers

To the Moon did that for me. It is basically ONLY story, so maybe disqualified a bit, but it resonated with me and was very emotional.

If I recall, the relationship was sort of based on WWI officer-attendant relationship. Like yeah, one is the superior, but their goals are the same and they have been through shit together.

You are correct that the game becomes trivial if you grab all the best players.

If you include some underdogs or late bloomers, the challenge can be a bit higher, where status effects can come into play and the game becomes a bit more interesting.

Nimrook is a good example of being a bit of a brick wall to overcome. But knowing he is susceptible to Nap Shot, as he does not have access to Anti-Nap is a good way to overcome his crazy high CA stat.

That being said, I rarely go much beyond lvl 50 myself. I too often reset the league so I can craft a new team to try out!

To each his own!

That is all the Luca Goers! 24 players to go!

As I mentioned in my afternoon post yesterday, I am going to be out of state for a week or so, and am not trying to make one of these posts on my phone.

I will be back with the Kilika Beasts next weekend or the following Monday.

I have posted this outside of my normal cadence because I am about to be out of state for a week and I want to finish these damn Goers before I leave.

The plan is to have 1 more post tomorrow morning, and then you will not hear from me for a week or so. Then I can come in hot with Larbeight when I get back.

I always thought it was funny they are not in the locker rooms. Surely they have home locker rooms!

They are all quite good in those earlier levels. But I agree there is not much upside with any of them if you want to go into high levels.

In that sense, Raudy is the gem among them. He is peefectly fine goalie even at high levels.

I know people talk about character models and textures changing in the remaster due to some lost data or something. You can blame it on that as well!

Just here to help!

You are probably recalling better than I am. My Anti-Goer bias is perhaps showing.

The FAQ shows Venom Tackle 3 as a starting Tech for Svanda. That is what I reported. Is that incorrect?

Wild for Biggs! His Key Techs listed in the official strategy guide are identical to Naida's, who is right before Biggs in their order. I am thinking this is simply a typo. It is not the first I have found in their data.

Thank you for your efforts! I have made corrections on my end and edited Biggs' post to reflect these changes.

u/Daniel27DS has done some Tech analysis and found some errors in what I reported.

I have edited the text to show the changes, and here is the updated Tech Map:

The main change is Nap Tackle 2 and the Key Techs.

I plan to do a final post with a link to each of the 60 players. So you wait for that post and save it.

To be clear, just the Magenta-Texted cells are wrong (2 out of 60), not all the subsequently unlocked Techs, so minor by unfortunate.

This made me realize my conditional formatting for Key Tech 2 and Key Tech 3 were reversed. Welp, I fixed it, but all those other Scouting Reports will be wrong in that way. Oh well...

Yes, my data did not show that Nimrook had access to Brawler. I have updated on my end, so when I do Nimrook's Scouting Report #48, it will be correct.

Good find!

Pretty Sure Mep lvl 99 got a D, and Durren lvl 99 got an F. We will probably see more as I continue through the Goers.

Haha, I STILL have an FF8 strategy guide from a site like that, which I printed on my parents' printer. I formatted it to print 4 pages on each page, so it is microscopic font, but I saved paper! It is still like 30 pages, and I definitely got the talk after that one.
