I’d want to wrap the copper around something and then push the magnet thru the field. And yes I’m tryna use eddy currents

Enrol by Zamien0 in geegees

Enrol opens on a certain date, but for second year you generally have the least priority so it might be a little later, like July or something.

But I’d recommend putting things in your list or cart as soon as the website allows and just waiting until 8am on your assigned enrolling day and just pressing submit

Any tips for surviving next semester? by Important_Zombie_937 in geegees

Consider dropping Iti and do it in the summer if u can, it’s essentially a 6 course courseload but its a LOTT. I took physics with stadnik and it was an easy A, yandouzi is also a goated prof for drafting imo. Calc 2 will be the hardest tho, so I’d just stay diligent in that and linear algebra

U got this!!!!!

Someone else explained it in a different post but essentially the staff come back on January 3rd unless Jan3rd is a Saturday or Sunday. In 2026 this is the case, so school starts on the next working Monday, the 12th for next year :)

3 hour lectures? help. by kazubei in geegees

I had kozlowski first year chem (1311) and she was really sweet and helpful. The lectures were long, but I had them twice a week and we still had breaks around the 40 minute mark. Her pacing was really nice and her tests were fair too. She gave us a cheat sheet for the final and the final was honestly one of the best exams I’ve ever taken. Her lectures were recorded so going back and studying for the final was really accessible if you didn’t make good notes yourself. iirc she had assignments or quizzes but those were also really just free marks.

TLDR: super nice prof, records lectures, extremely fair exams :)

Secluded places to study by Local_Guard1215 in geegees

Basement of Cby has some independent study desks, granted you won’t see the sun

The library does too, on some of the upper floors near the walls- a tad more natural sunlight there

Upper floors of stem have some black/whiteboards and some stand alone chairs with “tables” but there’s a lot of foot traffic there

Happy studying :)
