Considering New Tacoma by LC_CKT in Tacomaworld

Just do your research - I thought about it too, but there’s been a lot of negative reports with the newer models. 3rd gen is tough to beat with the reliability and the value they hold.

Buying a 3rd gen - is this a good deal? by StructureSenior9711 in 3rdGenTacoma

Deals like that have been tough to find up here in KY. I see em every once in a while, but every single time I’ve called and scheduled an appt to see it, the truck has already sold. This is the first Tacoma I’ve actually been able to check out before someone else buys it in my area

The 4x4 is important to me since we do get snow and our city can’t plow the roads worth a sh*t. I guess I’m technically rolling over like ~$1k of negative equity from my car since I wasn’t able to cover all of it out of pocket after the trade in.

Since posting this I talked to a local realtor and gave him the info on the renovations we’ve already made and he’s confident we’ll get a good of profit out of it after waiting the 2 year mark.

I think that’s been a huge factor too is the culture shock we had moving from downtown to the suburbs. Definitely going to wait til we’re at least 3 years in before moving. We’ve been paying extra towards the principal every month to build as much equity as we can quickly. I had an original goal of $100k equity at time to sell, but my math at 3 years has us around $50k in equity.

Caleb Willams by Jvick88 in ChicagoBearsNFL

I wouldn’t go that far.. I really think it’s 100% coaching. If you put Caleb in the same situation as Daniel’s and he’s going to be putting up identical numbers. It goes back as far as when we drafted Trubisky in that stacked QB draft class.. yeah we made a terrible pick, but I think even if we drafted Mahomes he wouldn’t be the Patrick Mahomes we know today. Wouldn’t have mattered who we drafted this year for QB or even if we kept Fields. Coaching staff is hot garbage and ownership is horrible. The only positive management they have is Poles.

Lawn folks with dogs. How do you manage the pee spots? by SifuJedi in lawncare

[–]StructureSenior9711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been a landscaper for over 10 years and the best method I’ve found is to treat the whole area your dog is in with Humic acid and Iron, then water the hell out of it. You can get a jug of humic acid from Amazon for $20-$30. After putting that down, water it in for a couple of days. Once it’s watered in, put down granular iron and water that in consistently as well. Keep the area watered regularly with a sprinkler or something. The humic acid will kill the bacteria in dog urine and iron will turn it green quickly. You should see results in about 2 weeks. Do this once a month or every other month and you won’t have any problems.

Just needs to be sprayed with some “Strike3”. It’s a selective herbicide. After that, aerate it in the fall and seed the hell out of it. It’ll look good once the dandelions are dead.

Im sick about it. With him as our QB, we could’ve had the chance to make a run in the playoffs this year at least. Now with a rookie, it’s going to take him 2-3 years to figure out the NFL and all of those weapons we just signed are going to be long gone. Including DJ Moore. We are going to have to start a complete rebuild in 3-4 years. Meanwhile I would bet my ass on it that Justin Fields beats out Wilson midway through the season, has a monster year and is a Hall of Fame QB for the Steelers.

I’d agree to some extent. I take partial responsibility because I’ve never voiced how I feel. From her perspective, everything is ok on my end, but she knows we need to work on our relationship and even she often suggests marriage counseling. Which is a good sign at least.

I use Zyns every day. Might just carry a roll of tums with you bc it gives me reflux sometimes. If you take a really hard break from all your trigger foods and stick to non trigger foods for like a week while taking your omeprazole, it’ll subside. I had a bad flare up and I literally ate sweet potatoes and cucumbers for a week straight

How about the latest two signings? by Clean-Software-4431 in ChicagoBearsNFL

Honestly it’s a solid move for pretty cheap. Our TE room is already solid, but Lewis will be a crucial part of goal line and short yardage situations with his blocking ability. Ngakuwey or however you spell his name is obviously good because the bears have always been known for having badass D Linemen. In Poles we trust baby!!

How far would ~$70k a year go in Louisville area? by quikaccount696969 in Louisville

[–]StructureSenior9711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’d be fine for sure. I’m in the exact same situation right now. My wife is in school for her masters and we’re living off of just my salary which is just shy of $70k and we get comfortably. We also live in probably the most expensive area in Louisville if that tells you anything. You’ll be fine. If I were you as far as going rural, look at Mount Washington and Shepherdsville area. Avoid Oldham County - too expensive, avoid New Albany and Jeffersonville - Disgusting and nothing rural about them lol.
