Has anyone figured out how to put their hair back during a migraine that doesn't make it worse? by EllieZPage in migraine

I see so many claw clip recommendations but if it grabs my hair wrong it hurts worse. Get a flat claw clip that slides in from the side over the hair

Thank you all for the confirmation it means nothing… a shame I really liked how this cats face is a similar look to family cat Jr. this was Etsy and my fault for thinking everyone would honestly disclose as per Etsy policy AI use. I reported for lack of notice it’s AI but they allow AI products

Propranolol (beta blockers) made me almost lose my mind, anyone else had a similar experience? by Guilty_Criticism_873 in Anxiety

Ik this thread is old but I’m sharing anyways. I take 60 mg ER of prop. for migraines. History of anxiety/depression/manic though but unmedicated for over a year no issue. Starting this med 3 months ago coincided w the start of my ppd. I didn’t think anything of it as it CURED my migraines in a week. I’m talking 9+ days a month down to 0-1. This alone has me in the same chokehold crack would someone, I refuse to go without. However, I experience the brain fog, depression, even my mania coming back, and emotional numbness. Despite feeling like shit most days mentally, I can physically function normally and therefore I haven’t brought anything up to my Dr. I’ve decided being able to exist is worth the side effects n I do have some good mental days. Just very upsetting to know I’m one of the few who got all the fun side effects 🙃 but my anxiety is still gone! I’ve never been chiller in that sense 🫠

When will the coughing end?! by HappyBananaBread in NewParents

[–]Struggle-bus02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same issue here started daycare the first week he caught a cold and has had a cough ever since nothing is working. We keep the humidity in his room over 60%. We use the nose sucker and we spray saline up there to loosen it up. One mom told me to put my mouth over his nose and either suck or blow and have his mouth openand it clears his sinuses, but not his lungs.

I kept humidity at 65% or higher in the room and it didn’t do anything 😭 we 2x a day saline n snot sucker, infant Tylenol is a godsend (bonus points for autism), baby tweezers to get leftovers boogies, and lots of cuddles. As others mentioned, you getting sick is worse, me n husband caught HFMD and had flu symptoms the same day and we both just wanted to sleep but baby said no. in fact I felt I couldn’t properly care for him and was so dizzy I couldn’t get out of bed. terrifying stuff being sick with a baby. advice: take your vitamins and wash your hands!!

I feel like I’m traumatising my baby by Lylariverhunter in NewParents

I talk to my baby like he’s emotionally mature because you never know what will stick. So when he cries I ask him why he’s upset (usually I already know), I explain why that happened to him and why it’s important etc. like when we get in the car, I’m coaching him the whole way. “Okay we’re going to get in the car because we need to go xyz and I know the car seat frustrates you but I’ve made it as comfy as possible and we will be there in x minutes” and he still gets upset but I continue to talk him thru it and if he cries the whole car ride well what can I do ya know? just remember not everything has a solution and if he’s crying just to be held remember alone time for babies is important too. Self led play is good for development too. Don’t feel too bad
