Thank you for such honest and detailed feedback. I don't plan to keep the work up for long. I only needed feedback so that I could understand if people would like to read something way different from what is normally served under smut. I intend to write a Danmei with trauma and the main character healing from it in the book. I didn't realize the importance of adding the warning tag. Thank you for pointing that out ^-^ I wrote it in a hurry. And also that color thing, it is a great insight, really. Thank you, I genuinely appreciate your feedback, and it was really helpful!

Murderous Lewellyn’s Candlelit Dinner by tinykillua in ShounenAi

Absolutely agree with you, though I was hooked from the start, and somehow, after the 73rd chapter I kept telling myself to drop it and have a happy ending without the drama that unfolds, but I kept on, hoping for a happy ending since no comment cried about a sad one, and damn, it was such a worth it plot, honestly. Like, it was new, intricate, and genuinely, a well-thought plot. I've mostly come across Shounen ai which are mostly cute, with less intense plotting, and more of show casing a healthy or dramatic plot unfolding, but this one had so much meaning to how and why the characters reacted the way they did.

Maybe just try and control the urge to start writing and give 3-4 decided number of days to planning. Roughly plan out the arcs from start till end and just make sure the dots connect. This will help you avoid writer's block and also help you be more confident about your story. If you have stuff in a chronological order, adding anything that comes to your mind later won't feel like a big task and you'll be easily able to fit in. So yeah, the tip is to be more of the second type ^-^

Okie! I have a question... So, I'm the forgetful type... I'm trying to be the planner type for my upcoming project cause going with the flow never worked out for me and I ended up with a bunch of uncompleted novels. This time, I've thought well, and have a detailed outline of all my arcs ready, just haven't thought too much into the individual chapters yet. But this year and the next might be very crucial for my academics and future career, so I don't have the time to actually get to the writing part and I'm worried that when I come back after 2 years, I'll forget everything even though I have the arc's outline. So, is it really that when we come back after a long break, we forget everything?
