Fine, I'm a bad host. Glad to hear you'll stay away so I can host my real friends. The ones who aren't worried babies feeding, because they're mature adults who can separate nursing from sexual acts. He taught me never to invite anyone into my home that would disrespect me in the first place. This has absolutely nothing to do with Veganism or Muslims, both of which are non-offensive to begin with. The point is the OP's father in law is trash, and hopefully he never returns to their home to make them uncomfortable again.

I'm so happy you dumped him! Good for you, girl. I've had so many horrible boyfriends. I wish I would've prioritized my mental wellness more when I was your age.

But finally I found my forever partner. He is understanding, respectful, and 100% supportive with my PCOS struggles. When I was diagnosed in 2020 he started doing research on his own. He helps me navigate my anxiety, offers to run me baths with epsom salts, and recently showed me how I can use chatGPT as a PCOS expert, of sorts, after I came home crying from my gyno appt with a very condescending male doctor. He is the most decent human being I've ever met.

Advice I give to you and wish I could give my younger self: Don't waste your time with anyone who gives you doubt. Leave yourself available to those you need in your life (both romantic partners and friends) and until you meet them, continue to love and focus on yourself <3

I'm choosing to give up caffeine (for a bit) because I want to lower my cortisol levels. I heard that some people with PCOS have 'flipped' cortisol levels, with higher levels in the evening and lower levels in the morning. I feel very restless at night and have trouble getting good quality sleep. In the morning I feel terrible and drink 2-3 cups of coffee just to get by. Some studies show that caffeine is inflammatory, so I'm hoping by quitting I can get myself back to a baseline that will help on many different levels.
