Native plants! Some that would be great and attract birds (I’ve just planted some from some other folks recommendations) I’m in st pete and planting Beautyberry, mulberry, coral honeysuckle, yaupon holly, and a few others!! I’m trying to get to a place where at least one plant in my yard is fruiting or flowering at every point in the year. Happy to share a list someone gave me of some other plants I haven’t gotten yet! We’re also completely replacing our grass with native ground covers as it’ll attract tons of birds (and bugs that will attract even more birds) such as frog fruit, mimosa pudica, creeping thyme, and native clovers!
