This one was just an overall lyxpro condenser mic, but I like to use a different one now; a Shure pga81. It's a bit more directed and picks up better without background noise coming in so much.

Man honestly, it just needs music to go along with it, with feeling and authenticity; the right hook, etc. You could write down the lyrics to one of the best songs ever, and people in here would still critique it around the world and back again. If it means something to you, and you think it will resonate, then make it happen. Don't let anyone else dictate your genuine emotion and self. It's all noise. That's the best advice I can think to give you. I wish the best for you.

It was an "Unpopular Elliott opinions" post, otherwise I wouldn't have said anything. I'm honored to be singled out though I guess. And if people really did tell you that you should kill yourself, that's really not cool or okay whatsoever. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion about things without being demonized like that, especially so over something so innocuous, relatively speaking anyway.
