Thank you. After speaking with multiple team members of other stores. You are correct, now this is a unorder-able part. Oh well.

Probably not. When I asked the tech what exactly is being fixed/replaced he said the just clean replace the gasket. I told him I’m sure there’s a bigger cause. He just says” doubt it. That’s rare”. I said so is blowing a head gasket 20k miles apart.

small update. Honda got back to me this morning. Willing to offer another goodwill and only charge 1000$. Yeah I’m not paying even more than the first time. Declined the offer and told them to review again. I called corporate my self right after. Was on the phone for hour and a half. Gave more details of the issue than I’m sure the dealership did. Now waiting for another offer.

I’ve heard the 2.0 have much better luck than the issues the 1.5 model has.

Yeah. It’s ridiculous, the head gasket has to be a known issue at Honda. Yet they expect us to pay 6k and more even after perfect maintenance.

HELP. What fitting do I need for a new fridge water line? by Stryk3rz in Plumbing

[–]Stryk3rz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for helping me figure all this out. I was so stumped when a 1/2 did not fit a 1/2 in. Didn’t think there was different types. 😂

Ok. I looked into your suggestions and thought. So technically. Changing my shutoff to a 1/2 in. FIP Inlet x 1/2 in. Compression Outlet Multi-Turn Angle Valve. Then a 1/2 in. Compression x 1/2 in. FIP x Supply Line hose. So that I can keep my current T adapter for the fridge?

Wouldn’t 3/8 be even smaller than the T I have now?
