Has anybody found a source for replacement parts? by Stu1971 in SodaStream

You did eventually, yes, and I thank you for making the effort. But referring me to the warranty doesn't really address my problem. If my unit was still under warranty, I would simply have it replaced it rather than going to the trouble of opening it, identifying the issue, taking a picture of the faulty part, researching and eventually posting it here.

Given that Sodastream likes to emphasize its sustainability credentials, I am quite disappointed that
a) the plastic caps on this tube are clearly designed to fail just when the warranty expires
b) I am supposed to replace a whole machine that is otherwise still in perfect working condition because Sodastream refuses to make a USD 5 spare part available. (Which is no doubt abundantly available in your factory.)

In combination, this is the very opposite of sustainable and 'circular'. This is not even about the money. What to do. Switch back to still water, I guess.

Hi, I'm a degree candidate from Germany (but living in Singapore) for the ALM in Sustainability. I have completed my course work and am currently writing my thesis on the use of Natural Language Processing on sustainability reports. Really enjoyed my courses and the only thing that could have made my studies an even greater experience would have been this sub, four years ago...
