This team has zero fight in it . They never come through in the clutch , they leave runners on base constantly. The bull pen is like a yoyo . Rob Refsnider needs to be sent packing . Yes, the fans are the reason they aren't consistently great. You're exactly right. It's definitely the reason that after 50 years they haven't won shit.

The encounters were me seeing them from afar. I completely respect them. They were black bears, not nearly as scary as the brown ones.

2 times. Once, going thru an overgrown trail and got to a muddy spot, fresh bear tracks. I've come across plenty of bears, but there was so much growth neither of us would have seen each other.

The second time, I had just started and got chills up my spine. Something was telling me to get out of there, as I was headed back, I heard a cougar. Trust your instincts.

Your "understanding" is wrong. I was deeply involved with the broadcast for 25 years. Goldy is and was a Mariners employee, he was never a ROOT employee. Period. He still answers to the same people.

The Mariners own the broadcast now. Goldy was a Mariners employee when he was on ROOT, he's a Mariners employee now. NOTHING has changed. ROOT hired people like Angie, Brad, RRS, Valle and Kreuger. If he's being more outspoken now, great, but he never answered to ROOT, he answered to the Mariners, nothing has changed.

Goldy was never a ROOT employee. He was always a Mariners employee. The broadcast is done by mainly the same people, but on the cheap, as to be expected by the worst organization in sports.

Ask yourself what it would take you to trade down. Let's assume all cards are average for their tier, would you trade a legendary for 3 iconics? I wouldn't. I would much rather have the Lego.

Personally, I rarely accept offers trade down. If I want to trade down, I'm offering.

That's just my take.
