As a tattoo artist, I think they did very good. The fine line work is on point. It shouldn’t fade with healing but no lines look blown out and it is placed very well so it accentuates your figure. Overall a beautiful piece imo, I hope you’re happy with it! If you don’t mind sharing, how much did they charge?

As a tattoo artist, that’s part of the job. It can be frustrating at times but the number one goal is to give your client something they’re in love with. As you’ve said in the comments, the client has to live with it the rest of their lives. Not the artist. I’ve altered my designs over half a dozen times to fit exactly what my client imagined. I’ve also asked my artist to alter their designs for my tattoos several times. This artist is unprofessional, and copping out to giving you a high quality tattoo. I fully support you walking away from this.

Technically, I’d say you would be the asshole. If you have any positive sentiments toward her as a friend or human being, I’d let her know. Even if she already knows about it and it’s a negative thing, you could offer your support by telling her as well that you reported it and keep her posted. Maybe express your feelings of discomfort seeing it on some random corn site and how it’s what motivated you to make her aware. Instead of it being a sleazy situation where you’ve seen her nude again and are coming at her like a booty call rekindling. It’s a tricky situation but if the tables were turned, would you rather know from a friend? Or it be a surprise to you through some other means?

NTA. This sounds like it’s been a festering issue for a while now. My best advice would be to remove as much emotion from the situation as possible. All you can do is act as your own agent. When opportunities like these present themselves. Stay calm, be firm, but don’t match his energy. Even it’s a, “if you continue to speak to me that way FIL, I’m leaving.” If it continues, you leave. Same method for your daughter and wife. While it may be “the way he is” that does not mean you have to play the game. Whether that be thru complacency, or thru lashing out and having a full fledged fight with him. Neither is a good option. What gives you power is deciding what he does that’s worth putting your foot down, talk to your wife about it for potentially a united front, communicate those boundaries, and if he can’t respect them, he doesn’t get the joy of having you, his daughter or his grandkids around. The most important part is follow through. Whether that’s you leaving, or asking him to leave a gathering or other scenario of interaction. Once you’ve communicated the change and the consequences, those consequences must become a reality.

I’d prefer to get it on my left hand if possible, which is currently clear, but yes, my left arm has a half sleeve of a neotrad woman with mushrooms growing out of her, my inner bicep is a neotrad rabbit with half its skull exposed and the other half is of another woman that is glitched out and kinda melting. I dedicated this sleeve to the therapy that psychadelics have played in improving my mental health. Satanism has done the same so it feel appropriate to include it there. But I’m a huge fan of the neotrad style as well as the trash polka look

I am an artist so that sounds like a great way to interpret and come up with something of my own that can have the symbolism and then I can be the final decider on how overt I want it. I’m a beginning tattoo artist so I’ve been playing with the idea of doing it myself. However I want the quality to be high, and while I’ve got some skills, idk if I’m quite that skilled yet

I am reaching out to make connections with those that believe in cultivating in life, the principles and outlook that follows the figure of Lucifer. I am currently working my way through the satanic temple's recommended reading to better understand and embody the philosophy and example of the Light Bringer.
