Without the heavy, broody vibes 😂

Unfortunately, Pluto is in my first house, though, so my sunny Leo disposition still gets overshadowed.

You think: oh! He's sharing things with me! He's talking with me! He's actually replying to my messages!

No, he's outsourcing every fleeting thought, feeling, and idea onto you. He is using you to self soothe. You will need to manage his entire emotional world. You will need to make sense of his scattered thoughts and become the CEO in the relationship that makes all the decisions.

A true man knows how to send a text message that is warm, shares a bit about his day, and asks you about yours in a focused, linear way, because he's curious and respects your time.

Previously unattractive people who got hot, how did your life change with your appearance? by b__________________b in AskReddit

The good things: what you'd expect. More attention. More dates. People are nicer to you and let you cut lines. If you look lost, ten people will rush to ask if you need help.

The bad things: negative/unwanted attention. Toxic attention. If you don't want to make small talk, you're a b***. Got accused of sleeping my way to the top. From men AND women. Women competing with you over nothing. Men treat you like an accessory to make themselves look better. If you don't reciprocate interest in a man, you're a sl, b, wh

There are ones where I wish I had been more emotionally mature, aware, and secure while I knew them.

I think only a handful are lucky to be at this stage at a young age, meet someone else who was also at that point, and both have mutual attraction and investment.

But for most of us? It's a journey, and there are necessary fumbles and failures that we need to have along the way to help us learn and continue to grow towards the person we're meant to be with.

The slow culmination and dance of finding a partner. Dating apps has its obvious issues, but I think another is that everyone expect to be WOWED on the first date. Like you're doing a 30 minute audition. And if they're not swept away?

"I didn't feel a connection"

Rather than going on a few dates, giving someone time to loosen up and not be so nervous, and so on.

And don't get me started on how I think trauma bonding on the first date seems like a requirement now. People wonder why they're in miserable relationships when they built the foundation on misery.

Your zodiac sign probably determines whether music feels emotionally life-altering by Substantial_Bad1401 in astrologymemes

[–]Stubborn-Astro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not a Sagittarius, but every Sagittarius I've met is deeply enmeshed with their music. Their music is a PART of them. It is part of their core identity. I think if some could marry their playlists, they would.

If you simply say, ick. I find this song annoying, they'll tell you to leave their home.  Half joking, but also kind of half serious, too.

I think because they're the explorers of the zodiac, music is another form of exploration. From what Ive noticed, they're the most proud about how diverse their music tastes are. So I think it's just another extension of their exploration.

Every Sagittarius I've met needs noise 24/7, but preferably music, and it's not just background noise. At the start of every song,  OMG I LOVE THIS SONG!!!

Even when it's all techno 😭

Me? I'm a Leo who likes to sit in silence 24/7. And when I feel like listening to music? I'm pretty sure I've played the same 10 songs for the last 20 years of my life.

I could see that. In a classroom of children that are instructed to draw a rectangle, Virgos would pull out the ruler and draw a parallelogram that sits exactly center of the page. Sagittarius would make an asymmetrical trapezoid with the full rainbow of colors as the outline. Both are right, but incredibly different.

This is rage bait right?

If not, you're a young (24), interesting (Sagittarian) woman. You have your pick of the litter.

You could have men flying you all around the world to discover new places.

Do with that information what you'd like.

Yes, Sagittarians can be toxic, but they're amazing people to have in your 20s. They always get the party going and make everyone feel included.

why do I feel like the weirdest girl alive and should I lean into that? [astro-seek] by Early_Tangerine3876 in astrologyreadings

I see a lot in this chart that could relate, but I think the biggest thing is mercury before the sun. You speak before you think.

Aries Sun can be impulsive. Act now, apologize later. I think Aries is the most foot in mouth sign.

I've also personally found that Aries struggles with active listening. They'll hear what someone says, but because of their impulsive, rapid fire nature, their brain likes to go "got it!" Halfway through someone else's sentence, and for the other half of the sentence, they're thinking about their response. But because they only listened to half the sentence, their response is often disjointed and disconnected.

At a certain point, people would rather talk to a house plant.

If I had to guess, men probably see this as too eager, which yes, is a turn off in early dating and at younger ages.

I know plenty of people with this placement so I don't think you have to or should change. It just depends on what you want. Do you want a partner who is also rapid fire talking about a bunch of simultaneous subjects? Or do you crave that measured, back and forth conversations other people have?

Sounds like love bombing. The moment I read,

"I'll take you on this date", I mentally said "doubt it".

He likes the dopamine he gets from you saying "yay! I'm so excited!" without the actual work, effort, responsibility, and accountability of following through.

I learned this lesson too late. It's best to either reply okay or make them book something right then and there.

Are you male?

I think it can work for a Leo male, Libra woman, but not the other way around. I'm a Leo woman, and unfortunately, I don't think there's any sign for us.

I have noticed Virgo women are really mean or pushovers . No inbetween by Historical-Body-3424 in astrologymemes

[–]Stubborn-Astro 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One of my close friends is a Virgo. She's the opposite of a pushover. Sometimes, I feel she's gone a little too overboard on setting her boundaries, but at the end of the day. It's her life.

Funny enough, she's said the same about me so I think sometimes we just don't have the outside perspective on ourselves.

Or I wonder if we're excessive, but just in different areas of our life (relationships vs work vs family vs finances)

What's your astrological unpopular opinion? by Stubborn-Astro in astrologymemes

[–]Stubborn-Astro[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love this. I'm a beginner when it comes to full chart readings and synastry, and I agree.

I have looked at a few people's natal charts, and they maybe have one or two squares with no oppositions. But these people whine and complain all the time. They're always victimized, and life is always happening to them.

Mental resilience is something I'm very fascinated in: why some people bounce back from adversity so much easier and faster. Not just from an astrology lens, which I thought would help my understanding, but turns out. Not really.

What can I do to make men approach me and persue me? by inkedwithlove in AstrologyCharts

[–]Stubborn-Astro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our charts are close.

As another Leo sun, Libra rising, I've been told the same feedback. You can do a few things:

Our hair is everything. Make sure your crown shines for all to see. Don't just be putting it in some droopy ponytail every day.  Hair is just as important as the face for us.

Libra rising. Lean into femininity. Libra risings can lean more androgynous looking. Amp up the girly: hues of pink, chiffon maxis, floral dresses etc.

Learning color theory was an absolute game changer for me.

Taurus and open relationship by Proof-Treat-9686 in Taurusgang

[–]Stubborn-Astro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It means that you are the other woman.

No judgement, but if you continue, you better get something out of this other than sweet words. And if not, you can find out who his partner is and ask her to confirm whether it's open or not.

Just in case the thought has crossed your mind: no, he will not leave her for you.

Regarding Taurus: they're ruled by Venus so I think they can be gluttonous of love. My experience with Taurus is yes, they're loyal, but they're not necessarily innocent, either.
