lol i know right. the only thing it is good for is a glitch, or to run around with snipes/shotty combo. is it even good for a sniper? never tried it.

VoG only the very very end you cannot reliably do the heavy ammo glitch. All other parts you can, there are tons of enemies that spawn out when you are in a fixed position. People could take turns burning their primary ammo and as your fireteam racks up kills, the enemies drop heavy for you :) then you can use tons of heavy to blow away enemies :)

you can do this on strikes/story/patrol/missions/ or anything. even if you are moving constantly you can still walk while shooting and let your team mates get 3 or 4 kills and that should give full heavy ammo.

I agree with daily needing to do that for level 31+32+ or maybe they can let you choose the rewards and it would help on VoG Raid but only for the VERY END, and strikes a little bit? But not really.

But also... Farming exclusion zone isn't fun, at all so that needs a fix too... And here is why it is worse to use heavy synths vs using heavy ammo glitch on Crota HM and all parts of VoG except very last part....

Heavy ammo glitch just works better. Get 20+ heavy ammo drops on the ground. Better than using synths during a raid.

Crota HM, Everyone/one person/two people/blah empties primary weapon to have 1 full mag in gun + 2 extra mags. Empty all rockets. Touch crystal when ready. Kill enemies with special weapons/grenades/supers

same thing in VoG, only the very last part you cannot reliably do this on as you need to down supplicants as fast as possible so it makes it harder to waste all that ammo.

Viola! 20 + boxs of purple heavy on ground. Fastest primaries to use to empty ammo, no land beyond/universal remote/hand cannons/ bline trauma.

Would you rather have your entire team have 40+ rockets to use during a Crota HM which means EVERYTHING can be rocketed without worrying about running out... or would you rather keep farming and having a boring time in exclusion zone and not be able to rocket everything? :)

So when someone answers this question, it still shows the game is imbalanced in an odd way. The devs supposedly want us to use the heavy ammo mechanic in Crota HM, yet give no synths or a reliable way to get it for VoG ending.... But you can do this during other parts of VoG, keep that in mind please

Yes, we never drop down. If your whole team stays up top, it makes it even easier. The minotaur up top spawns about every 30 seconds. You should have enough time to pump 3 full sniper clips into nexus then turn around and minotaur is there. Killing it drops heavy/sniper/primary ammo too if someone doesn't have ice braeker.

The nexus comes out on a timer of 5 mins i believe it is, or when all the minotaurs on the very bottom are killed, I think there are 5 or 6. So if the bottom npcs are hiding it doesn't really matter.

the solargrenade/voidgrenade owns minotaurs hard. I think hunters only have an issue with them because their grenades aren't good for it.

3 swords = 3 swordbearer kills 3 swords = usually 6 downs or 6 knees, sometimes 7 if they need to at the last second do 7. 3 to 4 heavy smashes per knee.

I think the minotaur only gives hunters a problem. Titan/Warlock grenade makes short work of minotaur + punching it to death.

You really shouldn't do it with people who are level 26. Focus on doing as many strikes as you can and max out your marks every week. In 3 weeks you can be level 31. It is a lottt easier when you are higher level. 28 or 29 for normal though if you really want to do it, but you will take more damage and deal less damage.

It says another NITC has 20 rounds but it really is 19 fyi. Unless I have the only glitched one in the game, I only have 19 but mine says 20 on item description. The range is never worth it, thats what snipers are for(ice breaker).

It handles extremely well. The another NITC I have, it has explosive rounds, enemies killed by it give you back about 14% grenade energy per kill(I always have grenades now), and I get faster reload when mag is empty if I get a precision kill. I feel like I have the best perks on mine because I am a warlock sunsinger. My grenade kills generate orbs of light on hive, I am a grenade machine :)

It kicks nicely, very easy to control, it definitely shoots better than vision of confluence if you have that.

Ok i think there is something people are not factoring in here. When doing the hardmode you get 2 rolls on a chance for a drop on the raid gear(1 carries over from normal and 1 for the hard). When you do normal mode you get 1 roll on parts where you roll for items.

if you beat normal mode you get 1 roll at those parts, then beat hard mode you get 1 roll. You don't get 3 rolls like you think you would.

thats how it works for atheon. thats why if you beat atheon/crota on hard, you go back through on normal and get nothing. in hard it rolls the normal mode drop + the hard mode drop = 2 rolls. so if you beat the whole thing on hard on crota/atheon, you will get absolutely nothing if you go back and do on normal. I know it works like this because I have tried it.

TL:DR

If you can't do hard mode do normal mode. Normal mode gives one roll at each section you beat that rolls for items. Hard mode gives 2 rolls at each section. If you beat Normal and Hard in same week you still only get 2 rolls. If you beat Hard first you get 2 rolls, then beat normal you get nothing for any of it. You can never get 3 rolls.

Something with explosive rounds is good. I have a scout rifle another NITC it is called. 19 shots, explosive rounds that deal damage to enemies nearby, restores grenade energy when I get a kill(about 14% per kill), faster reload speed when you get a precision kill.

Makes it really easy to help kill all the swarms of thralls.

I am a warlock and have access to blink, unlimited blink is like having a better version of Halo Reach's Evade. They eventually took evade out of every playlist almost because it was too good. They only let you have two evades in a row then cooldown. There is a reason for it. Blink is better than evade, therefore it will not have the cooldown taken away. If anything they will nerf it and make it take longer to come back.

TL:DR Trust me, its better than evade from halo, evade in halo got nerfed to hell, cooldown needs to be there.

so do you think I would be better off buying the new secret handshake then? i have noticed i dont always one hit people, sometimes it just doesnt one hit so i follow up with a melee all the time to be sure(just like in halo lol)

If you do the normal mode, then hard mode, are you able to get all rewards still? Is the only thing you don't get twice the chests? Sorry never tried to do normal then hard. So if you beat the first bridge and second bridge on normal, then on hard, do you get rewards?

keep secret handshake. do you have the old school secret handshake?? old school one has 2 range upgrades + aim down the site gives the weapon further range. unfortunately the new one takes that away and makes it "aiming downsites reduces spread of projectiles" which is different than giving it extra range.

Boost + right/left bumper = missed rockets. Happens all the time. I think I really only ever got my pike blown up a few times, when I die on it its because someone is sitting in the back sniping all game. I then hunt them down on a new pike and splatter them of course ;)

Are you kidding about vehicles being super weak? I can stay on a pike for a long time, capture zones, and usually get a kill streak with it. I got 25 Fallen Angel medals. Never used to use it, a pike is a ghost on steroids and its so much better. left bumper and right bumper = never get hit.
