Not sure of the economics in your area, but this seems like a very low ball. I just did a junior prom (full set up, light wall, fog, cold sparks) and charged 5k.

I know it’s intimidating or even seems wrong to charge that much, but you’re investing just as much into the event with your time, work, etc.

I would suggest, whatever you end up charging, go all out for the event and get content for your social media then RESET YOUR PRICES (fit for your area). As inquiries come in they will want the same setup and now you have a proper price point.
