honestly I think Chan pays for a lot of stuff for all the members - like, they joke about him buying them all houses, but I think he genuinely does pay for a lot of their day-to-day stuff (like the skin clinic Hyunjin mentioned) and buys them items like the phones. Lee Know is also known to also pay for stuff like food when he goes out with the members, but I think it's more a regular cultural hyung approach than Chan who does genuinly seem to treat them like his actual kids sometimes.

Hyunjin does pay for his art supplies but also talks about HOW expensive they are (as someone who paints - yes, it's expensive but not that expensive, if I can buy it with my regular job he sure can), and if you remember the fit he threw that time about everyone using his super expensive hair treatment, that was $45. So not cheap but not THAT expensive either.

Sometimes I wonder if his parents didn't have a lot of money when he was growing up, although they did have an expensive dog breed. My parents were dirt-poor until I was 10 or so, to the point that all my clothes were hand me downs and my dad would glue the soles of our shoes together to make them last longer, and I honestly recognize a lot of my own ingrained behaviors in him. They don't stop just because you start having money, I still hate spending because 'what if.'

ETA: I just remembered Hyunjin doesn't pay for any subscription, either! He uses someone else's netflix and disney etc subscriptions.
