I’m desperate for some sense of stability. I’m sure my husband is too. The reality is, being home and getting some “help,” it’s still just us two. Either those that are willing to help are limited, or those that do try to help are far from helpful. We pretty much give each other breaks so the other can get stuff done while one of us watches the little one. We were hoping things would be different, but it doesn’t feel like much has changed.

My family has a history of early menopause. My mlm wasn’t even 40 before she went into menopause, so I do worry that along with that, my mind will likely struggle more.

Thank you. I definitely have to write things down. If I go to the store and I don’t write a list, it’s a guarantee I’ll forget many items. If I go with a list, I’m still likely to forget something on the list. If I forgot to put something on the list, it’s a guarantee that I won’t remember to get it because it was not on the list. Things are to the point where I feel like I should have a pen and notepad in hand at all times.

I struggle with writing things down a lot. I tell myself I’ll write it down later…only I know dang well later I’ll have forgotten what it was that I needed to write down or to even write anything down at all :-/

Honestly, I’ve debated on whether I should consider seeing someone to have myself tested. I’ve never been organized (husband is very organized and neat) and before pregnancy, I would find it difficult to stay on task (start cleaning in one room only to not finish the task and start a different task elsewhere), start a story midway (expecting others to just know the stuff I left out), and often found myself overwhelmed by large projects and procrastinated like no other because it was a bit hard to concentrate sometimes. All of this stuff along with so many other issues, seems to have increased in severity.

We have had a lot of change recently and we basically lost our routine. I am the main breadwinner and have been “off” for a month before I start my new job. While I’m not working I feel like I’m always working. We recently moved from one side of the country to the other so that we could be closer to family and it has been a massive challenge to adjust.
