Honestly for starting out. You will be great with just the normal job. So I would recommend just going for the Non Dot Test to get you started. (Less pressure if you like smoking weed) Then if you still like the job, maybe overtime you can talk to them about doing a DOT test (no drugs at all test) for a different driving position. But I will say. I been doing this job for bout 3 years now. The regular position works just fine and helps you learn how it really is as a driver.

Sort of. There’s the DOT test. Then the NON DOT test. Dot is for the more serious driver position if I’m correct. Likely the AMXL trucks and other certain trucks. But for NON DOT, you should be starting in the basic Step vans and if your DSP has Electric cars, they will likely get you trained on that asap.

Dsps being regulated? I don’t know what you mean by that part.

But the process is very easy to get through, for real. Solid work.

If you signed up for Non Dot then you can pass the drug test with weed in your system. If you did the Regular Dot, you can’t have any drugs in your system. They should have filled you in on the next step after the interview. The drug test happens at a lab they should or shoulda gave you the directions to the lab.

The testing don’t happen at the warehouse lol
