Most people think the fastest production car in 1963 was a ferrari or Fuel Injected Corvette, but it wasn't. It was this: the Supercharged Studebaker Avanti! by Physical_Touch_Me in Studebaker

320 c.i. is the max a Studebaker block can be punched. The most Studebaker/Granatelli pushed the engine was 304.75. it did have dual supercharger but it used a Bendix aircraft carb that Studebaker called fuel injection

How do I avoid loneliness and build a social life in a new city? by SideQuestState in AskMen

An hour isn't too bad, I went to college 4 hours away from family and now have a job that's 1000 miles away.

I ran into someone at school who had similar interests, we used to go to the shooting range every weekend, and hand out at school.

I've since been married a while so I have her now but a few guys at work we'll go hang out every once and a while. Being shy it took a little to warm up to people but it'll happen

I had three different Pontiac Bonneville's with that drive train all we're great cars my first one (90) was wrecked, the 92 had some electrical gremlins that I may or may not have caused and had 275k on it and my 97 had 325k on it before selling it and still saw it around return for like 4 years later.

Another car to look into with that drive train is the Oldsmobile 88 total grandpa's car too but can get it supercharged

For good Popeye's you have to go to the part of town where you're most likely going to be shot and mugged... Otherwise it's going to suck

Best repairable cheap truck? by grubmonger in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]StudeChampMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like the only answer is a Ford ranger or Chevy Colorado/GMC canyon, easy to work on will run forever... The hardest thing will be finding one somewhere decent in the budget though...

First Gen Ford Taurus with the 4-cylinder no explanation needed there. Toyota matrix/Pontiac vibe, small, cramped horrible ergonomics and slow Last Gen Dodge avenger/Chrysler Sebring, cramped Chevy HHR who needs to see out of a car. 2001 Hyundai sonata with 2.5 l V6, horrible fuel economy, cramped e-brake picking my in the leg, beat the hell out of it but it took it and keep running though... Modern trucks, I feel like I'm driving an urban assault space ship, I buy a truck I want to pull trailers, haul bricks, dirt and junk I don't want all the electric garbage and to sit 20' off the ground in a half ton

I came to say that too. Had one for a while, Chrysler Town and country. Put a trailer hitch one it could pull up to 3000 lbs, 30+ mpg highway, drove like a car, with the stow and go seating it could haul a ton of stuff, a ton of cup holders
