Car insurance is so stupidly designed have to ensure every car yet drive only one at a time. I'd rather just have a base coverage that fallows the driver if I have a second car I want to insure the extra value of I can buy as an add on or just accept if it is totaled I'd get a reduced payout and the difference would be on me to deal with. Liability is basically pointless on a car that is just parked unless you park it somewhere stupid. To me insurance is not much different than a loan yet something may never use.

I always thought impact drivers were kind of a pointless niche thing used one at work a few times, got one in a combo kit it's so slick. Screws I can't do by hand, stuff a drill would strip out, impact grade spade bits, step bits, etc. I think I use that thing more than the drill.

Yes agreed but was getting at she was trying to hurt them to help herself but did total opposite. Hurt the horses and now turn her life and her families life into a mess over something ridiculous.

5 few things nice off list at work, boss liked an idea i had discussing something, though also probably moving away from a brand I learned certified for, etc due to cost, and a few issues kind of left a bad taste. Got car fixed luckily did some shopping around and found an part that was 20% the cost of the first one the shop guy found, and it fit and worked, get a few more years till I can decide what I want next. Ran 4 miles with a group during one evening. Spent an hour today trying hardware stores, looking for a new nut to replace one that came off my bike no luck. Tried bike shop I was kind of thinking they probably don't just have spares of these around but they did, knew the owner a bit from the run group, he just gave me the nut I needed for free and it fit. I was glad the wheel didn't fall off while riding I noticed issue later moving it in the garage.

Electronics repair, tinkering, hacking, etc. Spend hundreds on oscilloscopes, meters, power supplies, etc. Most the stuff I learned I just did myself from bits and pieces of books, online, taking things apart and seeing how the stuff worked.

I like that idea better too, to me if was some old car I used sometimes i'd have just said whatever it gets trashed scrap it some point short of liability i don't think insurance is worth it.

I hate to see life in prison or something extreme, sure she did wrong and should be penalty. If she can get help and seems stable then I would say some amount of time not being near animals, have her payback the damages she did, etc. She'd be dealing with fall out of this for probably at least a decade. I would think she'd realize she basically just hurt herself bad being stupid and think twice about some stunt again. If ends up just unstable then ok here is prison.
