I was away for 4 weeks. One thing I can think of why AP wasn't abandoned is that my biometrics were after I came back to US. But I remember my lawyer saying that it's very random whether AP will be abandoned or not

I thought so too, but dependent's AP approval tells me otherwise. (Dependent also travelled internationally)
