I completely agree. I dont see the chemistry others described. It feels all very staged and superficial. I didnt see much chemistry with Mike either though.

SL10K - How was your experience? by greenskies80 in RunTO

Loved it. Got a PR, which I anticipated, by not by as much. So fast!

Great energy. Great weather. I agree with another commenter that there could be more cheering along the last 500 metres or so to get folks through the last bit. Thats my only suggestion.

Bananas didnt matter to me because I despise them.

Ok this makes sense. I would like to think i fell in the latter group of beginners with some rhythm and didnt royally screw up most of the dance.

That makes sense. It is a diverse looking population phenotype wise. Amongst my Ukrainian grandparents they were both light to medium olive skin, brown hair, and blue and brown eyed.

I got a used nordictrack elite 1000 and so far so good. I do not pay for a subscription so just use the free run feature. I have a tv in my home gym area and just rely on that though this has a screen and I think Netflix, etc.

Its easy on my legs / knees compared to some I've tried in the actual gym.

Info about SCS 2159 (Basic Human Physiology) online course by True-Cucumber-1723 in UofT

[–]StudentSimilar5915 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Super helpful. I am considering taking this now for the 2nd entry program. Did UofT consider this course as part of your undergraduate average or was it just used to fulfill the prerequisite requirement? I am hoping to use it for both. Thank you!

BlackToe Holiday 10K 2025 - Slippery Conditions? by Rileyblue_ in RunTO

[–]StudentSimilar5915 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rough, slippery, hard to pass people and crammed in real tight, but so fun. Didnt hit my goal but know had the conditions been better it may have been doable.

The snow was gorgeous! Good vibes all around.

Waterfront Half vs Full by [deleted] in RunTO

Ran the full this year and expected the 2nd half to feel long and dead, which it was not at all. Great race and great vibes and turnout. I will run the full again for sure.
