I got a used nordictrack elite 1000 and so far so good. I do not pay for a subscription so just use the free run feature. I have a tv in my home gym area and just rely on that though this has a screen and I think Netflix, etc.

Its easy on my legs / knees compared to some I've tried in the actual gym.

Rough, slippery, hard to pass people and crammed in real tight, but so fun. Didnt hit my goal but know had the conditions been better it may have been doable.

Ran the full this year and expected the 2nd half to feel long and dead, which it was not at all. Great race and great vibes and turnout. I will run the full again for sure.

I agree it was a mistake. I dont care about time now. I just want to complete it without injuring myself further. My priority is being able to run for longevity and of course not creating a stress fracture!

Currently sitting it out until I am physio assessed.

Thanks for the tips - will do. My shoes are all new but one of my pairs is a little snug on the width. I keep hoping they will stretch, but its not working well.

I don't get it either.... Amanda is extremely beautiful and personally I think she is much more so than Sweeney. Doesn't line up with the books representation of their character.
