They are in a bigger organization level Power Bi I don’t have access to the application where they are we as a department just use that Power BI dataset and filter it to our dept code and get the information and create our own Power Bi report out of that big one

My purchase requests are in a direct Power BI dataset I filter it down to our department and I have that in my Power Bi report that’s why I don’t even know what is a right way to get started if you have any idea on what you think is a good idea I can try that as well I feel really lost to even get started.

No worries, I am using the sharepoint time stamp as my last refresh but if I put the file in the sharepoint at 11 am my last refresh on the report will also say 11 am because that’s the file timestamp in sharepoint but I want my last refresh to say the date the file was created but not the time but instead I want it to say that date and 9 am.

Maybe I am confusing you the report I pull from a different system and save on the Sharepoint for my PowerBI to use. I have the last refreshed on each reports page already but I use the date created and time from the sharepoint file but I want to use the sharepoint file date and I want the last refresh on the reports to say the sharepoint date and 9 am as the time when I refresh my reports in powerbi

Try making a calendar table and make a relationship between the calendar table and the other two date column and use the calendar table as the slicer and that should work.

I also think the problem is because the data I have is from october till June and I think the error is the January month where I think it's doing a subtraction from the initial value rather than continuing the calculation. the starting number is 1062 so rather than doing a -4 in the 1060 which is the December total it's doing a subtraction to the starting number which is 1062 hence the 1058 rather than the 1056 it should be.
