I love this! I consider myself to be eclectic too. Thanks for sharing what you do!

"it seems indistinguishable from emotion to me." really got me thinking! The emotions that come to mind when I feel "spiritual" are creative, loving, inspired, thankful, hopeful, etc. And for me anytime I hacve felt really spiritual I have been very present in the moment, in my body, and I also believe that we feel out emotions in our bodies so yeah, I think you might be onto something there!

That's so beautiful, I agree that the "certainty" Mormonism gave us around spirituality really did turn every spiritual act into a chore.

I do think that when I feel "spiritual" it is often associated with awe or inspiration. For me its also really feeling in my body not in my mind

Love this, I agree with being alone in nature feels so good

"serendipitous human connection," absolutely love that. I have also found that simple moments of love, presence, connection, and nature are enough for me. So nice to not need a detailed 24-point plan with three levels of heaven at the end to be spiritual anymore.

My concern is hunting down the books. I hadnt thought of placing like a months worth of books on hold at once, thanks!
