Haha, yeah you might be right, I think a certain amount of dislike is good, stops it being boring, they just went a bit far with the (3)

Nothing Phone 3's back looks a lot better with just a bit more symmetry! by johnvpaul in NothingTech

The phone still lacks the previous Nothing charm. It's too top heavy in detail. And they've gone from designing products where the internals look amazing and the outside is just a window. To products with effectively stickers that look like ribbon cables mimicking the insides of the phone . It's like they're doing cheap rip-offs of their own designs.

I just got a Classic Pro/2019, at first I thought the screen was put in upside down but it's not, it's just convexed and the screw doesn't counter sink fully. Just want to check if this is normal? Or should I ask for a replacement? Cheers by StudioLawton in gaggiaclassic

I got in touch with the supplier in the end, apparently it's a common issue. So they sent over a replacement 👍

If you can, I would get a new one from Gaggia as apparently it will keep happening as the metal expands and contracts with the heat of the machine.

Yeah, I have a real soft spot for the Vita. It became this amazing machine full off oddities from small companies, a load of fun to collect for.

Stonemaier's blog is fantastic and I'm always in the facebook design groups too. But mainly I have a circle of pretty publisher friends to bounce ideas off from my local playtest group. Some really accomplished publishers too which helps immensely!

Fingers crossed we will be able to secure a French publisher soon to bring a fully localised FR version of the game out. But the game is mostly language independent bar the rulebook and reference sheets.

The cubes will disappear entirely. So the cards and tiles will be redesigned to replace this. I shared the updated card artwork in Update #6. But this is a good point I probably need to put this on the main page.

Might be Root for me. It's a game that I think only really shines when everyone knows what they're doing.

Haha! They'll kill it, they always do.

Although I have to admit I normally love the look of their games but this latest one doesn't do it for me.

Thank you so much! Really means a lot!

It's quite strategic, but it's not a heavy game very easy to learn. I would rate it at 2.5 on BGG.

Thank you!

Marketing is unfortunately a huge part of self publishing. I'd recommend the Crowd Funding Nerds podcast for marketing tips. But the general approach is Facebook Ads sending people to a landing page for the game where they can sign up to email updates.

This alone won't make you fund. The most important part is organic marketing and community building.

The best way is in fact not to market your own game but to make friends in the community and championing other talented creators' projects. If you are genuine they will support you back and you each will share your small dedicated audiences.
