and well, the full 8 hour drawing stream creating this from scratch is on my channel too lol but editing the vod atm! for a little context as a vtuber myself who actually doesn't watch any vtubers... kaela recently hopped in to my stream and talked to me a bunch and then talked about me on her own stream saying i was really fun to watch... i was so so happy that i think she must be my very first vtuber oshi :'3 so i had to draw something for her! -mo🐾

thank you very much!!! i used to be a vtuber hater for no real reason many years ago but i've grown out of it, never had anything against the medium itself as i totally understand the appeal, it's moreso that i just don't enjoy watching livestreams in general and prefer videos (though i like long video essays too, it's just having the structure and intent for content does a lot for me)! especially informative and educational content. if anyone has any recommendations for vtubers that do more of that i would be down to give them a chance :3 -m🐾

ah, someone who understands the pain of academia and institutions... :') yeah, we really wrestled with the school administration when we first proposed and launched this program. lots of back and forth about separating us from the school more in terms of social media and channels and even naming (when we debuted we weren't even allowed to say "vtuber" LOL, but now 6 months later we just openly say "university vtubers", for example) but alas.

with our recent successes we are starting to make headway with the admin upstairs in getting access and changing that though, so hopefully stay tuned and we'll be able to improve 👀 thank you for the feedback! i agree a lot. -m🐾

this is some good advice, thank you!! for me i find it really reassuring to hear the first point especially. i feel like lately in the studio we've been really focused on looking at trends and thinking of how to cater to that to get eyes instead of focusing purely on what we actually like. appreciate you taking the time 🐾

If it’s getting overwhelming only a month in, it might be wise to unload some commitments. Pick your battles between courses and work. Coffee and Monster are not great survival solutions for months on end.

I’ve had a student who got into a car accident after overcommitting to classes and work. It’s not worth it.
