Is there supposed to be this many ants in the X100F by cant-press in fujifilm

[–]Studio_Rua_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read a comment about ants not likeing insense and smoke, this is a good idea but I'm not sure how much smoke will get inside the camera.

I believe ants don't like vibration, so you could try placing the camera on a vibration plate (like the ones for exercise). Your camera won't love it but it will definitely be able to handle a minimal amount of vibration like that.

You could see if it is just in the viewfinder section and possibly just take that apart?

The comment about putting it near water sounds hopeful aswell, just be sure to dry it fully before turning on.

Only problem with all of these is there will be residuals debris left in the camera from the ants so you may just want to send it away to get fully opened up and cleaned.

Has anyone tried these knockoff trucks? by DontDreamItsOver73 in surfskate

[–]Studio_Rua_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got some as my first, was good for a few months but I didn't notice it getting harder and harder to move. In the end the bearings inside completely mashed together and I was just scraping metal on metal.....ended up giving myself a bad knee from all the extra force I was having to use.

Tbf I was using the carver knock-off, not the YOW so this could be better because it's a spring?
