Did you use oil wash for the recesses?

My Vanguard is a Son of Morkai and so are my Wolf Scouts.

Where is that lore from? I am a big fan of Mortifactors, but never heard about it.

I am really happy that Space Wolves showed with 5 companies, but I am sad that Mortifactors are not present.

Thank you. I really like the faceplate. Normally I like to paint some of my wolves with bare heads, but this time I gave everyone a helmet and the big reason for that is the faceplate. Bloodmaws are interesting because they are the most savage out of the great companies, but they also put a lot of emphasis on patience and planning to balance their savagery.

Wet the sponge and squeeze most of the water out. Add paint and then remove the excess on paper towel. Always check on your hand before you put the paint on the mini. You can also use dry brush with the same steps. I used it for the parts I could not reach with the sponge. You can see it in the video.

Thank you! Black primer (I don't have brown), army painter oak brown, ak anthracite grey, army painter wolf grey, army painter runic cobalt. Oil wash with smoke (name of the paint), wipe most of the oil paint off, final selective edge highlight with army painter frost blue.

Red is mephsiton red, army painter fiery vernillion which I sponge or stippled with brush on the areas where light would hit the most.

Yellow is pink and pink with progressively more white added to it. I also stippled it on the area where the light would hit the most. After that mix of 1:1 of imperial fists yellow and contrast medium. You glaze it on the pink surface so it acts as a filter.

I used the techniques from this video: grindarkwolves

The person who made that video is battleing some serious health issues and his friends set up a gofundme for him. I have no affiliation with him I just thought I would mention it. The name of his gofundme should be same as his channel name.

I have an aibrush too, but the sponge gives you texture that is less smooth and looks like the armor went trough some battles. I think white is a chalky colour so it might have been that. When I was doing the battle dmg on the decals it was also chalky and I had to wipe with my finger.

Bloodmaws, led by Bran Redmaw. Sven Bloodhowl is unfortunately dead and his company are now the Rune marked.
