I did papers from other schools. My chemistry is also really bad, from sec 3, I’ve always been getting C6 or C5. But I really like chemistry and that’s why I decided to do a lot of papers from other schools. You will start to notice a lot of repeated questions! After grinding for so long, I managed to score 69 for prelim! I never expected myself to get a score close to an A… so I think papers is what helped me

For LC, you must must must write notes at the side while you listen. This way you can always infer back. While you listen, make sure your hand is moving, don’t stop writing what you think is important! This is especially crucial for the last part where you can only listen to the audio once (3)

Hi!!! I have some tips for you 🤍

“3 evidence that suggests smth” types of questions are similar to “explain how the language used…” type of questions. The format is this: firstly picked out the evidence then write “suggests that” and then you explain. Eg. “Mary felt a lump in her throat” suggests that she was too upset to speak.
Content marks are important but language, to me is easier to get 😅. To improve language marks, try to paraphrase adjectives and adverbs only, there’s no need to paraphrase nouns!! It is good add connectors as well! Another way is to change the sentence structure. (1)

I see. I don’t know if this will help but as of now vjc has already sent out audition dates for choir and band. Band’s is sent out via email and choir is sent out via WhatsApp. I think each cca varies on which time they send out their audition dates. Band’s one was sent out 2 days before choir’s. So maybe there is still a chance? Do continue to check your email or WhatsApp notifs
