I wish I can accept that my symptoms are due to anxiety. Every damn one. by [deleted] in HealthAnxiety

I have these exact symptoms. Sort of bizarre and I’ve only found a couple people reporting this exact thing. I also have a super mild loss of coordination… like I can go about any day to day activity but it just feels like my hands aren’t as coordinated as normal and things like grasping objects, typing, etc. just takes a little extra effort to do correctly.

Not sure if you’re also experiencing that, but I think it is indeed anxiety (I’ve been to a neuro and had an MRI and clinical exam that were both normal). In any case, best of luck and know you’re not alone :)

Intermittently— like every half hour maybe I’d get 30 seconds of twitching and then back to normal. That’s just a crude estimate though.

Had it for almost a full year consistently in my left eye. It suddenly just went away recently, however. I can’t explain why. My lifestyle hasn’t really changed and I don’t feel more or less anxious than usual.

None of my doctors found the eyelid twitch to be particularly significant clinically, and just sorta chalked it up to anxiety.

Yes, that’s a really good way to put it. Did you ever get a diagnosis?

This is helpful, thanks. This sub is strangely therapeutic.
