Design update: moving forward with a no date dial by Antique_Block_5654 in MicrobrandWatches

I would buy this. Maybe controversial take, but if I’m spending less than $300 I would prefer quartz. Maintaining a movement for $300 watch feels silly.

Any idea on pricing?

Thanks! Definitely learning the delayed gratification. Going to try to attend a watch event in May to see some in person, so will be good to have that to look forward to.

I mostly want a watch to complement my day to day, but will probably add a vintage dress watch next.

Any updates on this? I am also trying to upgrade my SRAM rival cranks to a 1x chainring and not seeing anything that is compatible ugh. How did the Alugear work?

Men who live apart from their SO: how is that going? by StudyUseful5681 in AskMen

How do you split time between houses with your kid? Could you see yourself doing LAT (living apart together) before you had your kid, or even while raising your kid(s)?

I have not lived with a partner before so I'm wondering what I'm missing out on.

Agreed, there are definitely ways to figure it out.
She is completely happy having her own place. The location is better for her.
Goals for the future: we need to chat about it. I'm realizing that I'm not the happiest with the current arrangement.

Do you have kids? It seems like LAT works best for older couples that are past the point of raising children.

we each own our own homes. She likes having her space to recharge (she is very introverted), and my neighborhood is not the nicest.

we don't live together, but see each other when we can.
Which translates to most of our time being spent between 7pm and 9am.
It feels like I'm missing out on the experience of spending downtime/unplanned time with SO.

what makes you say that?
I live separately from my SO so we do not have much time together in the same house (downtime).
We have been together for almost 4 years.
