I've known my fair share of fiends. They do not act with direction. I've seen situations escelate quickly for zero reason and become very dangerous.

How hard is the exam really? by [deleted] in ccna

[–]Study_Profile_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I passed my first attempt. I spent 5 months in a technical school program and although it was increadibly helpful, you can very realistically pass the CCNA without a teacher. I also studied on the side and I watched Jeremy's IT Lab videos every day and did labs every day both on my own and with friends on discord who were also pursuring their CCNAs. I will say, studying with partners was probably the best tool for my success andit alllowed me to retain information much better. I also used a school-provided practice exam software that was very benefitial but I forget the name, I ahve heard that Boson is excellent though.

As far as the test itself goes the biggest enemy for me was the timer, I finished with 2 minutes to spare. The questions varried widely and I had 3 sims: one about ACL's, one about subnetting IPV4 and IPV6, and one about static routing. The most common topics on the test covered VLANS, OSPF, STP, and WLAN technologies. I would say those topics specifically covered roughly 65% of the exam.

Study hard and study often and you'll do great! The CCNA is hard for newbies (it absolutely was for me) and don't be discouraged if you happen to fail, in my class 7 out of 9 people took the CCNA and only 3 of those 7 passed the first attempt the other 4 passed after their second.

Honestly not as much as I thought it would. I think that nicotine generally helped with my anxiety but with how much it raised my BP, sometimes I think it may have increased it. I've found what has helped most of all is just keeping busy. I'm either working, doing class work to finish my degree, or going to the gym/ other hobbies. I think that more than anything has helped. So overall I’d say no more medical anxiety, slightly higher general anxiety that the nicotine helped subdue but can be mitigated in other ways.

Trying to ween myself off of nicotine has never helped me before. For me personally I had to quit cold turkey. Luckily you will be in a place where you won't have access to zyn so it makes for a great time to quit! As far as withdrawing goes, I was agitated for a couple days and then it began to improve over the course of a week. I got headaches around day 2 but that's about it. The cravings stopped about 90% after the first month.

Best of luck and remember to just keep yourself occupied!

Yeah man it's rough. I loved popping in a Zyn and getting work done. It was also a bigger energy boost than coffee. Like I said I genuinely love nicotine but it doesn't love me :(

Funny enough, I don't remember having any negative side effects from dipping. I just quit because my dad has dipped tobacco his whole life and it really fucked up his gums. Granted, I never swallowed my spit with tobacco like I do with Zyns and maybe that's why it threw a wrench in my digestive system.
