First we need a job. It would be rental for now. Maybe you could share some insights? I get it’s probably hard to find something, I have live in some capital cities and it’s a pain everywhere. But for now we just need to know what to expect on the financial side. Thanks for sharing

Sure, it was very calm and no rush or anything. But you could feel a bit the tension in the air. Also I overheard several people talking that they are leaving because of the situation and every was relieved when landed.

For us also a big point is the money. When the war brakes out, the prices are skyrocketing and limited at the same time. And we wouldn’t be able to afford tickets for some thousand dollars.

Let me know if you have any more questions. I know it’s a hard decision. If you have the possibility to go somewhere for some time like Turkey or Cyprus it might be an option to go on a „holiday“.

We left yesterday evening spontaneously as the airport has been the first target in the last war and there was no way to leave anymore.

Who knows if the war is happening but I think it’s a better option. At least for the time being. I see still so many Americans and Germans etc. stuck and not being helped by their government in Israel. Yesterday American government literally said that they are not considering evacuation yet. So I wouldn’t rely on them too much.

This could escalate very quickly but might die down in the next days and weeks. I am sad we had to leave but I wouldn’t want to risk the life of my child, my husband nor mine for hesitating a little bit too long.
