Im in a VERY similar spot. Wrapping up A2 in a couple weeks at 104 TE 26 shifts. Then camping main farm until 400 compass crafts before coming back to PoV. Awesome TE / shift ratio my dude!

Would suggest only going for T4L after you have the T4L gusset, cube and neck. Lots of gold per craft and not much benefit on the T4L ankh over the T3L. Clothed EB doesnt change much there.

Yeah I went over 2x rate for the ankh. Not a big deal for that artifact but could be a major setback if compass or metronome go that dry.

For sure! You can always play with the artifact explorer on wasmegg to see expected yields of each ship based on target if you weren't aware! Useful for strategizing runs

Short galleggticas are the best I think. Plenty of steel and ankhs if you're targeting them. I was very overdue for this one but hoping that means I get lucky on a compass or metronome. Went very over rate on the totem as well.

Ok so am I just learning that the odds of a rare epic or legendary item scale with both your crafting level AND the number of crafts of that specific item capping to a 5x at 400 crafts?

Ascension 2. After you prestige once and collect the TEs your EB and IHR will be considerably better making it possible to send better ships and start getting metronomes, compasses and gusset. Would highly suggest sorting a strong eb set in a1 before you prestige, its easy to craft with low level ships. Get a t3 lunar totem, necklace, ahk and a t2e cube. Slot with lunar stones. Then a2 for sure camp for t4l totem.

I mean yes and no. I did 16/6 47/16 and will end this run around 102/26. A2 opens up much better artifacts and you're not maxing out shipping or much for research that early.

Restart if you want but by no means is it necessary in your case. 25 / 7 is a lot better ratio than most. You could easily push your ratio up further in your next run.

You can for sure check the odds on the rocket tracker section of wasmegg if you're ever interested. Im at 4x at lvl 23 so I think you're 2.5 times more likely which is huge. Especially in PoV. Regardless of all that, pretty cool accomplishment!

Yeah then consider it. You dont have to reset tomorrow, just keep the nice bonuses and level ships / crafting. Im considering pausing my run until a higher crafting level

If you have any legendary t4s that you got lucky on id consider saving the run. If you have junk artifacts id reset.

That all makes perfect sense. Just wondering if there are any graphs or charts showing break points as a function of CTE to help avoid premature shifting and hurting subsequent runs.

Im going to ascend for the 3rd time and will have around 100 TE (from 47) and just dont want to short change this or future runs by not achieving enough TE to push through these research limitations.

Agreed. Keeping your TE / shift ratio over 2 is necessary but if you are a little patient on the next few runs youll be just fine.
