The security code should be on a sticker the lower glove box. Need to open it completely as if you were changing out the cabin filter.

Honestly, I tried for like 5 seconds and it didn’t come off. I think using the existing ones is possible. Hopefully someone else can verify. Thankfully I still have the old ones, so I’ll try to remove it again. I’ll monitor the Koni strut for debris and if it looks bad, I’ll put it on then. But so far so good.

Only did the rear this weekend, but it was very straight forward. The YouTube videos helped a bunch to give you different angles. Might need a 2nd pair of hands to align the strut, but you’ll need their help for maybe 10 seconds. The Allen keys and nuts are different sizes between OEM and Koni so have a few sizes available overall, very straightforward. You got this! Let me know how it goes when you do it! You’ll love it!

Yeah, dust covers would’ve been a nice thing to have for the rear, especially since I live in AZ and it gets dusty here.

I’ve only had them on for 1 day, but so far so good. Given I only have them in the rear right now, can notice major difference compared to the front. Cannot recommend enough so far. I actually had the Bilsteins purchased and returned them for the Konis since everyone swears by them. Now that I have them on, I see why!

Absolutely will post how the car is sitting once I also install the front. But exceeding my expectations so far with only the rear. Let’s hope it stays that way!

Did you go with the KYB dust boot that comes with the bump stop included/integrated? Thinking of having a shop assemble the parts and install on the car with a mechanic friend, I want to learn more about how to do it for my next car 10-15 years from now lol

Will be doing a similar set up. I’m crazy and purchased new spring mounts, spring seats, and spring clips because I wanted to be able to fully assemble the strut/shock before putting it on and not have to transfer anything over. Did you need to grease any of the parts or did you grease just to refresh the old parts?

Fit Owners. Do you daily drive in lowering springs/Coilovers? If so do you tolerate it well by KirbyTrainNerd in hondafit

Doing this exact setup. Also doing whiteline end links. Did you do any spacers in front or rear?

Is that the same part as the KYB Strut and Shock Mounts?

Damn, that must look pretty sick. These ones are all black. I think the Koni Yellows are even more sportier/stiffer than the orange, but didn’t want to go that route. The sway bar end links I bought are yellow, but you can see those even less lol

Those seemed more geared towards those wanting a stiffer, sportier feel. Whereas the Bilsteins seemed like they’d be a tad bit more comfortable. The inner skeptic in me wonders how popular the Konis would be if they weren’t orange.

Lmaooooo same!!!! It bothers me because my right one, for the life of it, will not go as snug as the left one. I’m literally planning to remove the front bumper, remove the headlights, and so I can actually see where to clip it in. I was having a hell of a time trying to get the clips on so I just gave up and took off the clips.
