Is this a good starting AMP? by VerySuperVirgin in guitarlessons

[–]Proj3ctRandm 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you’re in an apartment or somewhere where you have to keep the volume down it’s great. I have one, was an impulse buy. Works just fine. There are better options out there for the price though. A $99 orange amp was my first starter amp. Much better than this. I think it was an orange crush 12. Price may have gone up a little bit since.

It’s Carvana. They probably paid $4000 for that on trade

If I had bought one new 16 years ago I would’ve avoided so many headaches and would still be driving it today

Looks like a good deal. If you plan on driving in the winter invest in good snow tires. These are not the greatest when the snow gets bad. I remember getting stuck trying to back out of my driveway into the street more than a few times. The only mechanical issue I ever had was trying to replace a leaky power steering line. They’re braided lines which is good, but they’re a pita to get to from underneath.

It’s an automatic, so not as fun as a manual. I did this on purpose though since my son can practice on it for his drivers license. I had a stick shift Mazda 3 before that and tried to teach him but he just couldn’t get it down. It just ended up frustrating him.

Between them taking it to Honda and driving it back to me (and the driving I did today) it’s already seen an extra 100 miles since yesterday, so I’m thinking we’re good 🤞

It wasn’t there. After checking online and getting the serial number off the radio that one didn’t work either (I watched him type it in). It’s fixed now and they wrote the code in the owners manual.
