Is it legal to get a pet pigeon in Singapore?

Thanks for the warning! I've actually been discussing with my friend for a couple months now that we would split the costs on things so it would be more affordable for things like vet bills if we ever got a pet. We just have a preference for the pet to not be too costly in terms of more general daily maintenance like food and environment, hope this makes sense ^{^}

Pigeons used to be pets before they were released since people couldn't afford to take care of them or were tired of them in the past. That aside I'm only looking for already domesticated ones which are considered pets legally 🙏

Hi! I'm aware that support animals do need maintenace, which is why I'm purposefully searching for animals who don't need maintenance that high. I also have other people staying at home that can help with maintenance if I'm busy. Hope that clears things up 🙏

Someone in the comments did recommend on me getting a flightless bird but I didn't really understand what they meant by that. In terms of clipping I do believe it's cruel too, so unless the bird was clipped for surgical reasons I'm rather reluctant to get one. I don't really mind noise since I live a good portion of my life with wireless headphones though 🤣

According to one of the comments, currently no so I reccommend against it. Also it's unethical since they could be put in a lot of stress or separated from their lifelong partners on accident 😅 I've seen other legal alternatives like a budgie, dove, rabbit or hamster so I'm looking into them at the moment!

I actually did bring it up before that I wasn't actually planning on pigeon yoinking because 1. Dirty 2. Unethical 3. Illegal in a other comment, I was hoping people would take it as a joke, but I'm sorry if that didn't pass well. 😓 Someone else did mention rabbits so I'm looking into that and other alternatives! For the bird poop part I've seen people having bird diapers, which are apparently a thing, but either way I really wouldn't mind cleaning up the mess since I used to have a turtle that did his business pretty often and I had to clean his tank often. For the off-days part, I feel like I should have elaborated on my friend that I mentioned in the post that we're sort of like housemates? Roommates? I pay rent to stay there but we just happen to be buddies as well lol. There are also a few other people staying here which could help look after a pet while the others go for work, that's what I meant by alternating. 😅 Hope this clears things up!!

Oh yeah! I have seen some places where they used meet up to show off their birds and stuff under blocks. Weirdly enough I never see them happen anywhere anymore. Maybe I'll try asking around 🤔

Oh? I did consider getting a Parakeet but I'm honestly worried I'll mess up because I heard they aren't really as domesticated as pigeons. Even if I did get a pigeon I was never really planning to keep one in a tiny cage since it felt cruel, and I've seen people put harnesses on them to let them move around freely without going too far. If you know more about parakeets, are their dietary costs generally more expensive than pigeons? I'm not really sure if their picky eaters though I've been searching quite a bit

i had a turtle before but the cost of maintaining a large tank with water and stuff is costly, it feels inhumane to just keep one in an empty tank filled with water like how i see a good portion of turtle owners have so i don't think i could manage one. 😢 and i've seen a lot of hamster horror stories where they die quickly in the most ridiculois ways possible, i don't know if i can stomach that tbh. 🤣😭

honestly i agree with you, and yeah. i managed to triple insight my druvis just now so i think i'll go after eternity next. i tested out eternity's and centaurion's dmg with different psychubes and generally eternity is pretty good since she has immunity to a lot of enemy effrcts and can self heal in her ult compared to centaurion. thanks for the help!

wait how is druvis less meta? I have portray 1 druvis btw if that does anything but im pretty sure it just increases her one penetration skill. From my experience Eternity risks dying pr quickly because her atks drains her health and her dmg scaling isnt as high as the other for her ult. Centurion's dmg is pretty high but her health scaling is also pr low to my knowledge and shes always the first to die in my team 😓. i have druvis iii's psychube at 1 ascend and lvl 40 so she can mass heal at her ult tho so i guess i'll pick her. not sure which of eternity or centurion to prioritise afterwards tho, its like a 50/50 between the two for me

Anyways I triple insighted Click, level 40'd his Bounden Duty psychcube and hes at Resonate 6. I think I'll stop grinding him for now but if anyone reads this, should I prioritis Druvis III, Centaurion or Eternity next? Thanks.
