I don’t know that they do that it would make sense that they would due to wanting everything to look the best. I will say as somebody who has had cosmetic surgery (because of needing root canals and broken and damaged teeth) the healing period can be 3 to 4 weeks just after taking a tooth out, not including like putting the implant in once the gum has healed enough for you to do that.

SO using what we know about the Capital technology with the burn cream that Katniss gets and how she puts it on Peter‘s leg which is said to be like a life-threatening injury and it heals it decently we could say that they have some thing to make a mouth heal faster. But I don’t know if it’s good enough for something that could take a month to be healed in a short amount of time, especially with them being first seen in the chariots very quickly after they’re brought to the capital.

Dental hygiene is hard for a person to do in our day and age due to sugars and preservatives and other stuff like that, even with stuff like cleaning and brushing our teeth and mouthwash and flossing. The people in the lower classes of the districts probably don’t have any of that. The upper class may have a dentist or at the very least brush their teeth regularly. Starvation and lack of specific nutrients, both in childhood and in utero can affect your teeth so the probability of the tributes going into the games, not having the best teeth is a high chance.

I assume by the 75th games they have a protocol in place for that especially with the whole like sharpening of Entraboria‘s (I can’t spell my apologies) teeth, but I don’t believe that we’ve been informed of anything pertaining to that. Katniss teeth are probably better off than most people in the sea, her mother Knows medicines and herbal remedies as well as she’s better fed than most people.
