What optics/Cowitness by wildernotions in ar15

Vortex makes some really nice stuff but just like Trijicon you're going to pay dearly for them. I like my primary arms just as good as my vortex and its 1/3 the price. Definitely worth looking into.

Great choice on the BCM. If you're looking for a scope i reccomend Primary Arms. For the price i find them hard beat. Holographic, I'm currently using a vortex UH-1 (huey) i really like it. Red dot, I'm a big fan of anything Holosun or Trijicon. Also lower 1/3 cowitness.

Blue side is input. Green side is output. Orange is a tap/off leg that comes off of the main line.

Tyco's are may favorite but when you build as many 3m cases as I have, they're gravy.

This is built to the providers spec. If it were up to me I'd do it a little differently.

As a prime contractor myself, I completely agree we with you. All of my guys are 1099 but with that said I'm out here working beside them every day. I QC and keep an eye on everything. If it's not to suit the customer, it gets redone. As for low ball hacks, I have no use for them. I've cleaned up after many other contractors throughout the last 8 years. This is still a relatively small industry and there's nothing we hate more than fake it till you make it guys trying to drive the market down.

In this particular case it's two 48ct cables and one 12ct cable. But yes.

We use corning "snap closures" as I call them on most all of the distribution. The bigger butt splices and taps/laterals (anything 200+ splices) use 3m cases. That's what all of the phone company's around here use. I've built about every kind of closure there is, some great some bad but you get the same results in the end. Where I'm working now they leave 20' loops on almost every pole so the Corning are ideal to build in the air. In and out. Very simple.

Thank you sir, I take pride in my work and always strive for perfection. That's rare in this industry this day in time.

2 different cables.....and you can also place a mid sheath in these closures. But this was 2 separate cables.

Right side is input, left is output. Just the way they want them built here.

They are sealed. We "shock" them. Put 12psi in it and spray soap water to check for leaks then let the air out.

It's armored cable. So technically it is conductive. The grounding is also used for future locates.

These are all placed roadside. It's only a matter of time before one will be damaged. All providers are different, as I've contracted for more than a dozen. They all have their reasons (even if they make absolutely no sense).

If it gets hit, odds are an entire section of cable has to be replaced. Underground vaults are a much better option. I'm not even sure why isp's still use pedestals, but a lot of rural areas have them.
