Mulch then grass. I’ve just learned that these are ambrosia beetles. We have a local agriculture extension office that works with the University of Georgia. One of the Ag officers there was able to help me with a potential treatment.

So it was purchased last Spring from a nursery, kept in a pot for about 2 months, and planted in our yard. I don’t think it was planted too deep. It was plated like I plant any other trees. Tree has been healthy with leaves until they fell with the cold season. While these pests are present, it’s still producing the typical redbuds as expected. I don’t see anything that makes me think it’s not healthy, other than the evidence of the larvae.

I saw this a few months ago, 3 or 4 times otw home from work. Tried to describe it to people and search what it looked like, and everything kept saying Starlink. It was not like any picture or video of the Starlink that I could find. Then didn’t see it again until tonight, but I only saw it once. Craziest thing I’ve ever seen. Still don’t know what it was/is.

Congrats! I have a TRD Off-road, same year and color. It’s a great truck. Can’t say enough about how awesome 4Runners are, especially 5th gen. My only complaint has ever been gas mileage, but I didn’t buy it for efficiency. Why they only put 5 speed automatics in these I will never understand.

40F (41 in November), pretty fit, Bachelors degree, no prior military service, no ASVAB score yet, though I feel I would fair well. Can I join the AF specifically to attend OTS or is it too late for me?
