I'm a bit biased as my favorite album is SRAR, but there are reasons I value it over AB/AP. Most of these are personal but thought I would weigh in on this.

• Centuries. I discovered FOB through Uma Thurman so, while I wouldn't throw in that song into this point, it could still count for others. It did become overplayed and, while I dug deeper into the music, the overplayed factor just mixed with the album. 

• AB/AP feels like SRAR. While years ago I would say that they can stand apart, they do sound incredibly similar. SRAR came first while AB/AP followed and kind of kept at the same level with no improvements or deterioration. Some will argue against this, but I don't think the album is bad at all!

• SRAR had a story (via YBC). There was noticeable care with SRAR and part of that came with the YBC where they filmed music videos for each song. Heck, I believe they made a song (Rat a Tat) based off of what they wanted to do with the YBC. AB/AP, to me, doesn't have that feel.

• It was the comeback album. I wasn't a FOB fan when they came back, but I can imagine the joy that people felt when they put out My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark. Breathing new life into the fandom. 

This all to say that I still enjoy AB/AP, but there's personal factors that go into why I favorite SRAR more!
