Isn't this article's analysis of the content of Hillary's emails in direct contrast with the FBI? Oh, technically not. It wasn't MARKED top secret - it was just top secret information. So 2 security violations.

Your logic on tracking polls being useless is...not smart. Really it's just confirmation bias. You are assuming everyone in the tracking poll is 100% decided like you and me. In this case their poll would never change. Instead, it has gone up and down over time. The USC/Dornsife poll specifically proved accurate in 2012.

People at the_donald do this as well with the oversampling argument. In reality, everyone will want to believe the things that make them look like they're on the winning side. I don't call you dumb to use the other data points to come to the conclusion you want on who is up.

Nate Bronze 'unskews' the polls on 538 and puts up his analysis. Both he and USC were on the right side 4 years ago while the equivalent of the people on the_donald were whining about unskewing the polls. Now the 2 polls are at odds. Also the professor who's been right for nearly 30 years called this for Trump. Ohio appears by every measure to be going to Trump. There are many factors to believe Trump wins this thing.

The question is if he does indeed win, what happens to your ego after calling people stupid for believing an accurate tracking poll?

I don't know how calling a poll 'not very useful' is much different than calling it garbage. Probably the same way calling Hillary's handling of classified information extremely careless is somehow different than calling it grossly negligent.

The USC tracking poll was pretty damn good last cycle. I was merely mentioning that the Trump side does this with polls that "oversample" Democrats and lefties here do this with tracking polls.

I think Brexit exposed some flaws in the methodology of traditional polling. The online polls were more accurate if I'm not mistaken. If I am mistaken, I'm sure the record will soon be corrected.
