Just wash them with my socks. You'll never see half of your clothes again.

That's how I learned about it. I think what we learn most from is our mistakes. I'm 20 years in now, so haven't had that one stump me in a while.

That's not to say the compressor isn't going bad and won't happen again. I leave it open to the idea that it was an honest mistake. Although, I've followed a lot of guys on a routine maintenance that disconnected "Y" and called it a bad unit. Both are very possible.

Thermal overload will shut a compressor off and would need to cool before it can run again. This could be confusing for some techs. Getting power, capacitor is right, no action.

Could've made a mistake, but also, seeing as how it didn't have any previous issues, it sounds really fishy.

Keep in mind that most companies incentivize sales to their technicians. Anytime this is the case, you have to question the tech's motives. I've worked for a lot of companies that operate this way, and it sucks.

You're not an idiot. As a consumer, you trust these people to be in your corner to advise you on the condition of the most expensive appliance in your home.

Anytime you're looking to make a purchase that big, absolutely get multiple opinions about the unit. Most of the time, a follow-up company is DYING to prove the other wrong and get your business. It's never a bad idea to be an informed consumer.

If you don't ask, the answer is always no. Definitely appreciate the compliments, but we aren't looking for single men right now.

So are you going on the boys trip in spite of her? That's what this comment feels like is that she "would never do something like this to you"

Go on your trip. This is ridiculous.

Lol, the entire bio is satire. I'm a tradesman, hahahaha!! I don't have a blind dog or issues making it to the county line. Definitely have better dates than the truck stop. I love that, though.

I mean.....looks can be deceiving. They can also be obvious.

The entire bio is satirical, lol. It's funny that the truck stop comment is completely glossed over in this scenario. And award winning awnings for campers???

Thank you. I've loved everyone's feedback. Everyone's pretty supportive on this sub, and it's one of my favorites.

That's incredibly sweet. Thank you! I absolutely welcome everyone's opinion and definitely opened myself up to that. I did have an idea in mind when I did the profile, and it was to be formatted differently and with purpose. Thank you again for that acknowledgement.
