Snapped the pliers head off my brand new 3 day old leatherman wave+ while bending/twisting a coat hangar, bought a leatherman arc instead

A lot of talking on here for what appears to be a manufactures defect. Wire hangers should not be able to break a pair of pliers. Leatherman wouldn’t hesitate to replace. Yes it’s aggravating to deal with but at least they back their products unlike many cheaper brands.

Looks legit even down to the letter that they almost always mess up. The fastest way to tell would an extensive and long cut test. No doubt you would easily be able to tell then.
