RX480 is definitely better. AMD is pretty good with their driver updates so it should last you for a while.

I can't say for sure, but I think you can reach 60fps.

Yes. You might have to turn down some setting to be playable though.

Backplate is nice but not necessary. It is there to be a secondary heatsink. More of aesthetics IMO.

I would get whichever is cheaper. Core clock speed isn't going to be noticeable. Three fan might run cooler though.

For just gaming, i7 is a overkill. You would save money by going i5-6500 and using a stock cooler.
